7075 Saber Alloy Recovery Hitch

Constructed from Aircraft Grade 7075 Aluminium:
When only the best will do, this Alloy Recovery Hitch is manufactured from Aircraft Grade 7075 Aluminium, making it not just incredibly strong, but also lightweight. This soft shackle friendly rear hitch is significantly lighter than any steel tow hitch on the market, coming in at just over 1kg. 
This hitch has an official Working Load Limit (WLL) of 5,000kg and tested to over 35,000kg (77,000lbs) with no deformation and without breaking. The 7075 Saber Alloy Recovery Hitch is designed to suit a towbar with a 50mm x 50mm (AS4177) hitch receiver.

Soft shackle and rope friendly:
We do not see a reason to design a metal product that then requires metal to be added to the system, so this recovery tow hitch is soft shackle and rope friendly. Whilst some metal shackles might fit, we actively suggest using rope or soft shackles where possible.

Rated to 9,000kg, this is a seriously strong soft shackle. 
This shackle can be used for all types of vehicle recovery, plus marine, agriculture and more. Having tested the shackles in a NATA accredited facility in Melbourne, Saber Offroad shackles perform at a superior level compared to many other tested competitor products.
As with the other products in the Saber Offroad soft shackle range, this product is designed to be safer, stronger, lighter and easier to use alternative to metal shackles.

8K Heavy Duty Formula Recovery Kit

The key feature that makes this kinetic recovery rope so effective is its ability to stretch. When put under load, it will stretch up to 30%, which develops many benefits during vehicle recovery.  Compared to even the best snatch straps on the market, this is over 50% more stretch.  This added stretch significantly relieves the sudden shock felt during vehicle recovery, reducing the stress on the vehicle and those inside.

With kinetic recovery ropes, some slack can be left before the recovering vehicle starts the recovery. This allows the rope to gain more momentum and therefore gaining a much higher pulling force, helping especially in very loose terrain, such as deep sand, snow or mud. Since the kinetic recovery rope is excellent at absorbing shock, it will simply stretch under tension and then transfer all the energy gained from the recovering vehicle to the vehicle in need.

From a compliance perspective, the Kinetic Recovery Rope range has been tested in a NATA accredited facility in Melbourne. Combined with the testing of the products, it also has the required labelling so the product is fully compliant for sale in Australia.  It is important to note that not all kinetic ropes are created equal.  During the product development stage, a number of ropes were tested both from competitors in the market today, and from some alternative potential manufacturers, and the results were concerning.  

THE SHACKLES:
This high capacity soft shackle is manufactured with proprietary blended coated fibre. 
With this level of strength, this shackle is ideal for small-medium 4×4’s, pick-ups and similar sized vehicles.

This shackle offers not only a 9,000KG minimum breaking strength, but the Technora binding offers truly cut resistant protection for the core.  This product is designed to be a safer, stronger, lighter and easier to use alternative to other shackles (both soft and metal).

Having tested the shackles in a NATA accredited facility in Melbourne, Offroad shackles perform at a superior level compared to many other tested competitor products.

When combining the 9,000kg HDX Soft Shackles with 8,200kg Kinetic Recovery Rope, a far safer recovery will occur.  There are examples everywhere of the failure of unrated (and in some cases rated) metal shackles failing during recovery, and the damage to the vehicles and most importantly those in and around the vehicles is horrendous.  A well-matched, NATA tested, soft shackle and kinetic recovery rope virtually eliminate these risks.

So, a recovery kit that includes a kinetic rope that offers 50% more stretch than the best snatch straps on the market, combined with two world-class soft shackles, makes this kit a must for anyone going offroad.
