When lifting a vehicle, the Constant Velocity (CV) joints are put on an increased angle, helping to accelerate the wear on the joint and putting additional stress on the CV boots. The added down travel from adding extended shocks can also cause the joint to exceed the maximum operating angle, which causes the CV joints to bind up and cease to operate. The SuperPro bolt-on kit corrects the geometry of the front axles and CV's by lowering the front diff approximately 25mm. Reducing the angles on the CV joints can help get them back into the normal operating range, helping to avoid the expensive replacement costs of CV's.
